Hi, I am Kanupriya—the founder of Travel AIP and TRA - A Boutique Stay—and I have a story to tell before you dive into this section. This may sound dramatic, but it’s the truth. The seed of becoming a travel guide was planted at 5,000 meters, just after 5 a.m., at Goecha-La top, December of 2014. Tears rolled down my cheeks as I watched the western face of Mt. Kanchendzonga being silently washed in crimson dawn light. I knew that very moment I wanted others to feel this too. From then on, the journey of creating meaningful travel experiences had begun, quietly but persistently.

In this section, you’ll find what I offer as a travel professional with Travel AIP and Tra Boutique Stay: my research, recces, travel plans, lesser-known destinations, interactions with tribes and communities, practical tips, must-dos and don’ts, and the trips I personally host. It’s been nine years now, and I’m loving every bit of this path.
